Day 1: Banyuwangi – Ijen Crater – Sukamade
The tour begins at midnight with pickup from your hotel, airport, or train station in Banyuwangi around 00:30 AM. You will drive approximately 1.5 hours to Paltuding, the main entrance of Ijen Crater. After a safety briefing and gas mask distribution, the hike starts around 02:00 AM. The trek to the crater rim takes about 1.5–2 hours, depending on fitness level.
Upon reaching the crater, you will descend carefully to witness the famous Ijen Blue Fire, a natural phenomenon visible only before sunrise. Afterward, enjoy the sunrise view and explore the crater lake, sulfur mining activity, and panoramic scenery.
